| Bio: |     Nutshell version - Photographer, writer, business owner and expat. Born and raised in blue collar Cleveland, Ohio, I escaped the cold rust city for the shiny lights of New York City when I was 20. I overshot a little bit and ended up on Long Island, where I stayed for about 12 years. I divorced my first husband and the city then, although I still do love the city. After a several month detour to Västerås, Sweden, I moved back to Cleveland. Again in the cold rust city, I spent roughly five years making some excellent friends and getting my head on straighter than it was before I arrived. On Thanksgiving day (that's the end of November for non-Americans) 2002, I packed up my life and moved to Zurich, Switzerland, and I got married a few months later. We moved to Basel less than a year later. While Switzerland is a rather dull place to live, being on the border to both France and Germany makes life here a tad more interesting.
